Tech Ninjas have partnered with an ambitious coaching platform that are heavily investing in their digital transformation to support the continued success and growth.

To date they have been delivering a great product and service without needing digital service but they have identified to scale this is an integral step. Part of the digital scale up is to hire for a Head of Engineering to lead their engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner with the Head of Product to design, build, evolve, and rollout best in class digitally enabled propositions that meet strategic and operational objectives.
  • Develop and execute a robust technology strategy and execution plan aligned with business goals and objectives. Lead on technology stack decisions and where and when they need to be reviewed and potentially changed. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and emerging technologies that could enhance our business propositions and user experience.
  • Evaluate vendor and third-party software solutions, oversee the selection process, and ensure seamless integration with our existing systems and manage relationships with our technology partners.
  • Create and manage a technology roadmap including assessment of the internal and external resources required to deliver agreed outcomes.
  • Manage technology budget and ensure external partners are delivering at the right level of quality, time, and cost.
    What are we looking for?
  • Extensive experience in a technology leadership role, ideally within earlier stage ventures and larger organisations, with specific experience in building new and recently launched products and propositions
  • A familiarity with HRTech and/or two-way marketplaces would be advantageous, as would experience developing ‘B2B2C’ products.
  • Strong knowledge of digital platforms and web technologies, including mobile/native app development, cloud computing, APIs, databases, and mobile applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to select and manage technology and software vendors, create new tech stacks, and drive successful partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of digital technologies, trends, and best practices. You’re comfortable evaluating and implementing digital tools and platforms and have a knack for simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing technology strategies and building digital products and services that align with business objectives, while also retaining the ability to conduct hands-on reviews of software developed
