Tech Ninjas have partnered with a bank in the Leeds area. They are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to strengthen their team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the Agile Delivery Manager and Lead Business Analyst to determine an appropriate business analysis approach for a given project.
- Assessing the capabilities of the current business system and functionality to evaluate the feasibility of an initiative.
- Taking a proactive role in decision-making during requirements gathering and process definition exercises, ensuring alignment with planned timelines.
- Conducting business impact analysis to provide the Product Manager and Agile Delivery Manager with a high-level overview of project/initiative sizing and complexity, contributing to the overall viability assessment.
- Investigating and critically evaluating business problems/opportunities in alignment with strategic planning and change priorities.
- Validating solution designs against requirements by collaborating with the architecture team.
- Facilitating and supporting prioritization exercises to define Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and subsequent iterations.
- Ensuring compliance with standards, policies, and frameworks through effective collaboration.
- Supporting the efficient progression of business requirements through the sprint cycle.
Qualifications and Skills:

Substantial experience in a Business Analyst role.

Proficient knowledge of Agile and Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and approaches to requirement gathering or user story capture within these methodologies.

Strong understanding and practical experience of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Analytical mindset and adept problem-solving abilities.

Ability to build rapport with business stakeholders and influence decision-making.

Proficiency with tools like Confluence and Jira.

One day per month in the office.
